Hi...

This is the last day of the year. Will next year be the same? Probably. I´ve read again an SF story I first met when I was about 12 years old, which never left my mind, so I still have the book. The Answers, by Clifford D. Simak.

A man comes back to Earth after everybody has left her, except for a few dozen people. They´ve stayed behind and led a very simple life due to two questions made to a very powerful computer. "What´s the raison d´être of the Universe? Answer: The Universe has no reason to exist, it just happened. "What´s the meaning of life?"; Answer: Life has no meaning. Life´s a casualty. No wonder they lived their lives simply. Maybe we should all do the same.

A very good new year to everybody. It´s gonna´ be old in 12 months, anyway...
